Improving Visitor Experience and Efficiency Enhancement project

1 October 2020 - 2 May 2020

If you’ve been in and around Berriew recently, you may have noticed work taking place at the Museum.

This is a project to improve our visitor experience and efficiency.  Between October 2019 and February 2020, we have builders and decorators both inside and out, refreshing the building and damp-proofing a storage area.  We are installing air-to-air heat pumps, LED lights to replace our inefficient halogen bulbs and a battery to store energy from our PV panels.  All of which leads to:

**a more efficient Museum contributing to a Carbon Neutral Wales 2030

**being open for longer hours for you, our visitors, because of the energy savings made

**a stable temperature to better care for our users and exhibits

We will be continuing inside the Museum until we re-open with new opening hours in May 2020.

We look forward to spreading more joy, hope and wonder through the incredible life, works and times of Berriew-based and globally renowned, influential artist, sculptor and performer: Andrew Logan.
