As excited as we are about opening our doors to you, we’re also thrilled at the rest of Berriew opening up.
Our sister, The Lion Hotel Berriew, has been open for the last couple of weekends for outside dining and take-aways and is now delighted to announce the restaurant, bar and bedrooms will be open from 3rd August onwards. The Lion is registered for the Eat Out to Help Out scheme (50% off for eat-in diners, Mon – Weds in August 2020, no voucher required). Book on 01686 640 452 and explore the incredible Andrew themed bedrooms.
Berriew Stores, our local convenience store, has put in place exemplary safety measures throughout the pandemic and we aim to uphold what they have begun.

Alan Davies the butchers Prime cut meat and sublime of ready made meals for you to take away.
The Talbot Hotel has their outdoor marquee serving drinks and takeaway food and dining. To book at table or a takeaway, you’ll need to call Jackie on 01686 640 881 or 07964 767 757.
The River Rhiew in Berriew provides a wonderful backdrop to the chocolate-box half-timbered houses. Check the forecast, pack a towel and pop down to the Rhiew’s swimming pool, just by the waterfall.
Powis Castle Garden, courtyard and Garden Coffee Shop are now open.
As with most paid for attractions now, you will need to book your visit in advance.
